Case studies
What our team built for each game, and what it does for the kids who play it: what the family asked for, the calls we made and every round of play-testing. The numbers come from the build notes we keep while we work.
Featured case study
Ziggy Games
An arcade built for one kid
A custom arcade made around one boy: Pam the pug asleep by the machines, his team's pennant over the high scores, his favorite player's initials at the top of the board and a secret code that makes it snow inside.

Soccer Kids
Real youth soccer, with a coach who waits for your kid
A four-on-four park soccer game that teaches restarts and positions while kids play. It's built on the Sports Arena engine, and its Learn mode, touch controls and three levels took shape over six rounds of play-testing on an iPad at home.
Hockey Kids
A second sport on a proven engine, tuned over six play-test rounds
Floor hockey proved the Soccer Kids engine could carry a second sport, and six rounds of play-testing gave it quick shots, smooth motion and a rink that's easy to read.
Pickle Kids
Pickleball for new players, with the real scoring
A doubles pickleball game with several shot types that plays easily on a phone. It's free to play here and in the Ziggy Games arcade, and it keeps score the way real players do, with side-out scoring.
Ziggy & Pam Sports Arena
A boy against his pug, and the start of a sports engine
The first sports game in the Ziggy Games arcade: soccer between Ziggy and Pam, playable from two cameras, built so more sports could follow without rebuilding the basics each time.
Your kid could be the next one
Every game here started with one family's requests and a kid who play-tested every build. Tell us about your kid and we'll show you the game plan for yours.
