A Player Edition puts the kid you love into one of our sports games, drawn the way they look, in their number and team colors, with their pet on the sideline. We plan for 1 to 2 weeks from our call, and a printed reveal card covers the day if the game lands after it.

How a gift works

    Build their player

    Draw them as a paper kid, pick their sport and tell us the date. It takes about two minutes.

    A free call

    We talk through the game and plan the build around your date, with a fixed quote first.

    Print the reveal card

    A fold-over card to wrap: their player on the front, and a code on the back to play as them that day.

    The game arrives

    An unlisted link that opens on any tablet, phone or laptop. No app, no ads, no account.

The reveal card

Once you've built their player, your game plan has a "Print the reveal card" button. It prints a fold-over card on one sheet: their player on the front, and on the back a code that starts one of our games with them as the player, so there's something to play on the day.

Here's the one we'd print for Rosie. The code is real: point a phone at it and Rosie takes the field in Soccer Kids. Fold it, wrap it, and their own game follows.

Does a custom game work as a gift?

It makes a good one. A Player Edition opens on any screen the kid already has, so it suits a birthday or a holiday, and we'll plan the timeline around the date when we quote.

How long does a gift take?

We plan a Player Edition for one to two weeks from our call, built around your date. If the game will land after the day, print the reveal card from your game plan, wrap it, and the link follows.

What does my kid need to play?

A web browser. Our games run on iPads and other tablets, Chromebooks, phones and laptops, with touch controls on screens and keyboard controls on computers. There is nothing to install and no account to make.

Do you need photos of the kid?

Only if you want to send them. Everything in the game is drawn, so photos just help us get the hair, the glasses or the favorite cleats right, and they never appear in the game.
